At first, it was a slightly uncomfortable experience because I did not know what to expect while “dining in the dark”! The plates served were very delicious and the Chef took into account all of the food items I specified I did not want to have in my meals. At the end the Chef showed us our plates and was kind enough to take several pictures with my whole group. All in all, it was a very fun experience and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Perfect for leisure and corporate groups.

We tried the experience following our stay at the Bab El Qsar hotel. It’s very surprising, the flavors are increased tenfold. We thank Joël who took great care with us and the chef for discovering the different dishes that we tasted. An experience to try!!

i came here for a friend's bday and I must say, the experience was so worth it. maybe a bit pricey, but everything was amazing. dining in the pitch dark, enables you to focus on the food and we had a great time. the chef is so creative and incredible. our server, Mr. Joel was very welcoming and amicable to us. you really cannot a put price on a unique experience.

Challenge your taste buds! This is honestly one if my most memorable experiences in Abu Dhabi. It was an incredible dining experience that I'd highly recommend. The host and chef are professional and fun. The food is exquisite! High quality! We were so pleased.

Dining in the dark~ a unique experience which isn’t well advertised. It is a chance to rely on all senses with the exception of sight, delicious food which the chef will show after you have eaten. You try to identify the ingredients as you eat each course in the pitch black. It is so worth the visit to Bab al Qasr to try this restaurant. You do need to book the day before. Joel and Meggie talk through the concept and you experience the place setting along with beautiful canopies in a low lit room as your eyes adjust before entering the dark. Chef Newan talked us through all the ingredients at the end. A fantastic team running this experience and I thoroughly recommend a visit. I just wish it was advertised better so more people would know about it.
